Hi! My name is Rachel McKee and I am the art teacher at Langston Road Primary! This is my twelfth year teaching and fifth year in Houston County. I spent my first seven years of teaching in 2nd grade, 1st grade, and as an ESOL teacher. Born and raised in Cordele, GA, I then moved to Athens to attend the University of Georgia. I received a bachelors degree in Child and Family Development and a masters in Early Childhood Education. I also earned my educational specialist in curriculum and instruction from Piedmont University during my time in Athens. I taught in Athens for seven years (Go Dawgs!) before moving to Perry to raise our kids closer to family. I have been married to my husband, Jack, for nine years and we have two precious children, Hudson (6) and Hadley (3). I am SO excited to be a Langston Road Primary Colt! It's going to be a GREAT year!
