Hello! My name is Melanie Shellong. I am a second grade GTE teacher at Langston Road Elementary. This will be my 27th year in the teaching profession and I must say I love teaching as much now as I did when I started. I am truly fortunate to be a part of your child's life. I have taught pre-k, kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and fourth grade. I graduated from Mercer University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Early Childhood Education. I also hold a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia College and State University. I live in Warner Robins with my husband, Peter, and my daughter, Shaunna.
