Hi, my name is Jennie Frey and I am a 2nd Grade teacher at Langston Road Primary School. I graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Currently I am working to obtain my Master of Education in Reading Instruction from the University of West Georgia. Learning alongside my students fuels my motivation for teaching. This year begins my 20th year of teaching! I have taught 3rd grade and Kindergarten as well as 2nd grade, but my heart always returns to 2nd grade. I love this age and the enthusiasm the children have for school and learning! I also get to see them grow their love of reading and solidify the foundations of mathematics. I am excited for what the future holds in integrating technology into everyday learning as well!

My husband and I are both originally from the beautiful state of Michigan and we were transplanted to Florida as children. We moved to Georgia in 1996 with the United States Air Force. We have two grown children, Emily (26) and Jason (24), both of whom attended and graduated from the Houston County School System. We also have four fur babies, our dogs, Jack, Max, Marcie, and Sebastian. We love to travel and when we aren't busy working, you might find us at the beach or rolling down the road in our motorhome!
