Welcome to 2nd grade! I have taught 2nd grade 17 years and 4 other years in other grades. I am not only a teacher! I was in the United States Navy for 4 years as well as a credit manager, commercial & residential painter, printing press helper, and an over the road truck driver. I have visited and/or lived in many different areas including: Guam, Bahrain, Japan, South Korea, Saipan, Thailand, Hong Kong, The Philippines (where my wife is from), Germany, Switzerland and  France. I received my bachelor's degree in Church Ministries from Maranatha Baptist University and then went on to get my Early Childhood Education Certification through Fort Valley State University. Lastly, I received my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the American College of Education. I am currently working on my specialist degree from Georgia Southwestern State Univ.  I enjoy a classroom where we can laugh and have a good time while also learning. I will enjoy getting to know you in the coming weeks and months. I live at home with my wife, my daughter Ashley, a 5th grader, and 2 troublesome cats.
